Hewitt will travel to the Bathurst Paceway with My Mels Place ($7) drawing two in the second row in the first three-year-old fillies heats, while Ace Reporter ($3) has drawn barrier eight in the second three-year-old fillies heat.
It's a tricky assignment for Hewitt, but he admitted that someone has to draw the unfavourable positions.
"We're up against it with the draw," he said.
"It's very difficult and it's hard to say what we'll do. We might sit on them and hope we get a lucky run somewhere."
My Mels Place, from Shoobees Place x Just Bobbysue, is backed at $7 odds, the joint second-best odds in the 1730 metres race.
It'll be her 22nd start, with Hewitt hoping she'll claim her fifth career win and third on the trot.
"My partner bred her, so we've had her all the way through," he said.
"She's only a small filly and what she lacks in size, she makes up for hard. She's a terrific, trying filly."
Hewitt's other starter Ace Reporter is paying $3 for the win, the second-best odds behind favourite Write About Lexy ($1.65), trained by Hewitt's brother Bernie.
She's in some good form, coming off a win at Young on May 14, which was just her second start since August 22, 2018.
All up Ace Reporter has won three races from six starts, her first race coming at Wagga back in July, 2018, which resulted in a win.
"She's nice filly and a real good trier too," Hewitt said.
"She had a late start for one reason or another. She's a nice filly. It's disappointing about the draw and I think the favourite in both those races has drawn barrier one, which makes it awkward."
There'll be another two NSW Breeders Challenge heats on Wednesday night, both for three-year-old colts and geldings.
College Chapel ($1.40) is the hot favourite for first one, while Make Mine Memphis is the best-backed for the second, with both trained by Bernie Hewitt.
The 10-race meeting gets underway from 4.38pm.
