For almost three months, the intersection was completely closed off to traffic as construction was carried out on the roundabout.
But as works continue to finish off the project, business owners neighbouring the intersection have expressed their disappointment towards the way the project has been communicated to them.
O'Shea Barber Shop owner John O'Shea said the works have continued to block off car parks during peak business hours.
"We pay extra rent to ensure the business has on-street parking, yet these works continue to block us off without warning," Mr O'Shea said.
Mr O'Shea's frustrations are shared by Ristretto owner Arthur Aube, who said there has been regular issues regarding public access in the month since the roundabout opened.
"On Tuesday, the traffic cones were already in place when we opened the shop and when we tried to move them, the workers gave us attitude," Mr Aube said.
"While we've received an apology, the point is we deserve more of an explanation regarding the works considering they directly affect our business."
Both men believe the communication they've received from the council regarding the roundabout has been sub-par and as neighbouring business owners, they feel a more through explanation is needed.
"Council's jumping up and down celebrating the completion of the roundabout, but it isn't finished, and we're fed up with the disruption," Mr O'Shea said.
In response, council's director of engineering services Darren Sturgiss said the works are required to introduce vegetation to the intersection.
"Council crews often conduct plantings and vegetation maintenance at roundabouts and would not usually notify businesses of this type of work as it has minimal impact," Mr Sturgiss said.
"It should be noted that NBN crews have also been repairing and replacing footpaths at the intersection."
