A community Justice of the Peace desk has opened at the Bathurst City Centre. The desk, at the top of the escalators of the Bathurst City Centre in front of Tarocash, operates from 3.30pm to 6pm on Tuesdays, 5pm to 7pm on Thursdays and 9am to noon on Saturdays.

Bathurst Regional Art Gallery's Starstruck: Australian Movie Portraits exhibition will run from June 7 to July 28. The exhibition reveals never-before-seen stories of Australian cinema and explores how cinema portraiture can create a bridge between the magic of a movie's fictional world and the realities of film-making.

Explore Minerals Community Day will be held at the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum to celebrate the opening of the new exhibition, The Albert Chapman Collection, from the Australian Museum Exhibition. Cost: $5 entry per person (free for under fives). No bookings required.
