Brown has been named in the NSW-ACT Rams team which will compete in the AFL Under-17 Future Series on the Gold Coast next week.
It will mark the highest level of representative rules the Bathurst talent has contested.
Brown will not only play alongside some of the best emerging talents in New South Wales, but he will square off against others from Queensland and Victoria who hold their own dreams and ambitions of one day participating in the AFL.
The teenager knows just how big a milestone it is in his young career.
"It's obviously a really great experience to be playing at this level, so the nerves are definitely pumping. But overall I'm just very excited to play and have the opportunity," the 176 centimetre talent said.
"This will be the highest level of football I've played since I played NEAFL, which is a big step up, going from NEAFL to playing for New South Wales."
As well as playing his club football locally for the Bathurst Bushrangers Rebels in the Central West AFL, Brown indicated he has also played in the NEAFL.
That was for the Greater Western Sydney Giants, the NEAFL squad basically acting as a reserve grade team for its AFL team.
Brown also played for the Giants Academy team in the 2019 NAB League for under 18s. He contested three games, taking on Northern Knights, Gippsland Power and Murray Bushrangers.

From there he went on to contest an under 17s fixture between his Giants Academy outfit and their Sydney Swans counterparts.
Having impressed in that, Brown was named in the 23-player NSW-ACT squad.
"The way the team is split, it was split between the Swans Academy and the Giants Academy - a 50-50 split," Brown explained.
"I know all the Giants Academy players because I've played with them in the NAB League tournament, but most of the Swans players I'm unfamiliar with as I've only played a couple of games against and not had a chance to play with them.
"I was hoping to trial and make the [Eastern] Allies side this year which is the under 18s side and I was unfortunate in not making that side.
"So after not being successful with the Allies, I turned my focus to making the Rams side and I was successful in doing that, which was really good."
The Rams will begin their Futures League campaign on Monday when battling Queensland on the Gold Coast. Games against Victoria Metro and Victoria Country will follow.
While Brown is still working out what his personal goals for the tournament will be, he knows good performances could lead to further representative honours.
"The coaching staff don't really set us goals, they sort of turn to us to set our own goals so you get out of the games what you want to get out of it," Brown said.
"If you want to be the best defender you can be or be the goal kicker who kicks the most goals - that's a goal you set for yourself, not something the coaches set for you.
"It is definitely another one of the stepping stones for me."
