CHARLES Sturt University will mark the 30th anniversary of its founding when it holds an awards ceremony, cake cutting and tree planting on Wednesday.
Before the big event, however, the university has supplied some photos from its regional archives that show some of the faces and events from the Bathurst campus over the years.
The Mitchell College of Advanced Education and the Riverina-Murray Institute of Higher Education merged to establish Charles Sturt University in 1989 with campuses in Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst and Wagga Wagga.
Campuses have since been established in Canberra, Orange, Dubbo and, more recently, Port Macquarie.
You can see the plans for the anniversary celebrations on the Bathurst campus on Wednesday, July 17 here.
