Come that meeting he will attempt to snare a Group 1 double in less than an hour.
Frisby will steer the same Sportswriter x Rooftop Fairy gelding which delivered him his maiden Group 1 crown - Our Uncle Sam - in the Blacks A Fake Queensland Championship (2,680 metres) for his father-trainer Chris.
Thirty-five minutes later he has the job with the John Boserio trained Mistery Road in the QBred Triad over 1,660m for two-year-old colts and geldings.
Both face stiff opposition, but are certainly contenders with Our Uncle Sam the $2.80 second elect and Mistery Road an $8 prospect.
Our Uncle Sam campaigned in Queensland last winter with good success, posting a pair of wins at Albion Park and another at Redcliffe.

He has drawn well in barrier two, but faces some stiff opposition from the likes of Inter Dominion victor Tiger Tara, to be driven by Bathurst native Todd McCarthy, and Grant Dixon's Colt Thirty One who has one 12 of 16 starts this season.
Racing Queensland form analyst Darren Clayton said a Tiger Tara's barrier 12 draw is an obstacle he can overcome, but also likes Frisby's prospects.
"We saw how well he came back [last] Saturday night at Menangle," Clayton said of Tiger Tara.
"He'll probably get around them early. I thought Our Uncle Sam with the gate that he's come up with - I thought he was very unlucky [last] Saturday night in the Sunshine Sprint ... that's a good draw for him."
Mistery Road will be tested by a barrier nine draw, but heads into his Group 1 battle on the back of three consecutive second placings. Two of those were by less than a metre.
The meeting starts at 5pm and will also see Georges Plains trainer-driver Bernie Hewitt chasing success in the Group 1 Queensland Derby (2,680m) with Make Mine Memphis.
