For the last two years in a row, Pozza's Powdercoating has taken out the award for Excellence In Construction and Trades at the annual Peak Connect Carillon Business Awards and it's not hard to see why. After spotting a gap in the market two and a half years ago, owner Brett Pozza said the business has continued to grow and develop but like most small business, they need the support of locals.
"We are the only powdercoater in Bathurst so if locals don't come and use us there is the chance Bathurst will lose a very important industry in the community," he said. "This could result in other local business need to send products out of town to get powdercoated and will drive the price up".

Located in a prime position at 1a Bradford St in Kelso's industrial area, Pozza's Powdercoating employees two locals who combine with Brett to make a solid team. Luke is the main sprayer and Andrew is the main sandblaster, and between the three of them can handle all customer enquiries and requests.
Pozza's have a strong reputation around town, especially in the auto industry, and Brett said they are always willing to support locals. "We are a bunch of rev heads at heart so we are always out supporting automotive events with our cars or sponsoring locals cars/bikes with Powdercoat to help them do better in their sports," he said. "It's always important to support your small, local businesses so remember to keep it local".
