The hosts had a 3-1 victory over Northern Sydney and Beaches to start Friday's action but had to settle for a nil-all result in an entertaining clash against Metro South West later in the day.
With two remaining pool games on Saturday Bathurst are well positioned to progress to Sunday's grand final.
While disappointed to see the winning streak end, Bathurst coach Ali Stanford said the squad have been performing consistently.
"I think a bit of fatigue came into it but the girls still pulled together to make it nil-all, and we're really happy with that," she said.
"A lot of credit has to go to their goalie. She had a very good game. We just panicked a little bit so tomorrow we need to come back here with a little more patience."
The opening five minutes was spent around the middle of the field as both teams struggled to break into their opponent's circle.
That changed when Bathurst's Kristy Ekert beat several defenders to have the first goal scoring opportunity into the match. Her resulting shot went left of the goal.

Bathurst continued to spend the opening quarter of the match hounding South West's circle but the blue and white's defence was up for the challenge.
A rare opportunity on the break in the 14th minute for MSW fell apart when a pass sailed in front of the intended target, then another.chance in front of goal couldn't be capitalised upon.
It took some desperate defence from MSW to deny an open Ekert a goal with four minutes left in the half, as well as Jodie Johnson's follow up attempt.
Less than a minute into the new half the Metro women created their best chance of the match when a lightning pass to the top of the circle found Jodie Stevens but the shot was wide.
In the third minute of the half the game was briefly halted when an errant Bathurst stick collected a South West opponent but thankfully no significant injuries were sustained.
Upon resumption a Bathurst break down the field set up the first penalty corner of the match.
Julie Hanman's hit sailed into the back of the net but the goal was disallowed for being too high.
Hanman was again denied on a short corner attempt with 13 minutes remaining, as Bathurst began to ramp up the pressure on the MSW defence.
Jill Hay's dangerous run helped give MSW their first penalty corner with just four minutes remaining but they couldn't get a shot at goal away.
In tense final minutes neither side broke the deadlock.
