Regan Hughes, Baden Kelly and Aidan Kennelly all scored doubles for the students, while Marcus Burrell scored one in the seven-tries-to-zero win.
But even with such a strong win, CSU co-coach Peter Koen did admit that it wasn't the side's best performance.
"To be hones though, it wasn't the best performance," he admitted.
"In bits and pieces there was some good rugby but when I was talking to the guys we realised we scored all of our points bar one try in 30 minutes.
"The first 20 minutes, we scored 17 points, which was great. Then the first 10 minutes of the second half, we scored another 19.
"It was a good, no doubt about it, but we're looking to improve on that."
Koen did say he was pleased that his side kept Parkes scoreless.
"We enjoyed the fact that they didn't score a point because I think they had a lot to play for," he said.
"We were expecting much more. We heard that they might have had their strongest team of the season on the paddock."
With the regular season now over, CSU will now turn its attention to Narromine on August 3.
Narromine have been on fire this season, having lost just one game from 15, with a staggering point difference of +640.
There's several things Koen would like to see his team improve on at training during the week and that includes the defence and the set plays.
"I'd like them to improve with their tackling effort and keeping the score to zero but of course Narromine are a different opposition all together compared to Parkes," he said.
"The other thing was our set play started off quite well [on Saturday], with our scrum and lineout. They've improved, no doubt about that, but at different stages, it fell away. So we need to continue working on our set plays."
