The chance for hosting rights in that semi-final are still there and that's incentive enough for the Rebels to give it everything.
Orange Tigers might still be in the driving seat for the minor premiership but victory for the Rebels this weekend in Cowra will pile the pressure on the competition leaders - especially since the Bushrangers men have the bye (and four guaranteed points) in the last round.
Being the last game before the finals campaign Rebels co-coach Matt Archer wants to make this trip a good one.
"It's in the back of everyone's mind that we need a relatively good win [to keep the pressure on Orange] but just playing good football is the main concern," he said.

"This is the last game before finals so we can't afford to take a backward step or have a bad game.
"Cowra's core group are the same guys who have done it over the last decade or so. You never know what could happen when you go over to Cowra so we're going over there expecting the strongest possible Cowra team."
Rebels beat the Blues by 95 points in their earlier meeting this year.
If Rebels can repeat that effort then they have a chance to narrow the percentage deficit to the Tigers.

The dream scenario for the Rebels is a win for themselves and a defeat for the Tigers against the Demons, which would hand Bushrangers the minor premiership.
"We're hoping for a tough game with plenty of intensity because that puts us in good stead for finals," Archer said.
"Regardless of what they bring, we need to be playing our finals football campaign now."
