A TRUCK DRIVER critically injured in a workplace incident on July 22 after a pallet of timber fell on him has died as a result of his injuries.

Police confirmed the 61-year-old, who was injured while loading a vehicle at Allied Timber, Raglan, died in the days following the incident.
Duty officer with Chifley Police District, Inspector David Abercrombie, said police were notified by Westmead Hospital the victim had died, and were now preparing a report for the Coroner.
He said SafeWork NSW would also be conducting their own investigations into the incident.
SafeWork NSW released a statement on Wednesday saying it was "continuing to investigate after a truck driver was injured while loading a vehicle in Raglan on July 22. The injured man later died in hospital."
Emergency crews were called to Allied Timber, in Ceramic Avenue, Raglan, on July 22 after receiving a number of triple zero calls at around 7.30am.
Police, and five units from NSW ambulance all responded to the calls.
The 61-year-old man was treated by paramedics on the ground, before being transferred to Westmead Hospital in Sydney by the Toll rescue helicopter.
Paramedics were told by work mates the man had lost consciousness for about five minutes after being injured by the falling timber but was conscious when paramedics arrived.
They conducted a rapid trauma assessment of the patient, calling in the rescue chopper as part of their response.
Paramedics worked to stabilise the man at the scene and he was flown to Westmead Hospital by the Toll helicopter, however, he died on July 24 as a result of the injuries sustained.
