While the crowd at Charles Sturt University's Rafters Bar were wowed by the sounds of the Rubens on July 25, Bathurst musician Erin Cobcroft also had her chance to star as a support act.

Cobcroft had the chance to play four songs - three originals and one cover - on the night, with the gig being a part of the Rubens' Chucka Bucka's Regional Tour.
She said she was "shocked" when she found out she would be supporting the Rubens.
"I was lost for words and I was so nervous, my stress went through the roof," she explained.
"I was so nervous backstage but once I got out there and played my first song, I was bouncing."
She also got a chance to meet the band members.
"They were really nice and down to earth. They treated me like I'm on the same level," she said.
Hoops is one of the Rubens most notable songs, with the song being voted number one in the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2015.
Cobcroft begun playing piano and singing at the age of five, but picked up the guitar around the age of 12 and taught herself.
She labelled her genre as "contemporary pop" and said the Kooks is one of her favourite bands.
While the gig in July was a bit different to her usual scenes of weddings, party and pubs, Cobcroft has another significant gig coming up this month.
On August 9, she'll be performing at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre's Band Night for LamBros, a two-piece band featuring Sydney brothers Connor and Harry Lambrou.
