Across the coming months, both students and thousands of other dancers will be dedicated to rehearsals to create a world-class performance for the Spectacular in November.
The theme for the 2019 Schools Spectacular is STARS and the featured performers will shine brightly in a group of more than 5500 stars drawn from public schools across NSW.
Schools Spectacular creative director Sonja Sjolander said it's youthful exuberance, amazing talent and passion for performance that has made the event a must-see on the annual arts calendar.
"Our students love to be a part of Schools Spectacular and audiences just love their performances," she said.
Four performances of the Schools Spectacular will be staged at Qudos Bank Arena on Friday, 22 November, at 11am and 7.30pm and on Saturday, 23 November, at 1pm and 7.30pm and will be later broadcast across Australia on the Seven Network.
