Lambros are a Sydney-based band featuring Connor and Harry Lambrou. With Connor on vocals and guitar and Harry on drums, percussion, didgeridoo and backing vocals they will deliver another memorable performance.
Lambros have been making waves in the music industry for a few years. Fusing blues, soul, rock and Indigenous sounds, their music captures the everyday experiences and emotions of life. They have been entertaining audiences with their toe-tapping vibe and infectious passion at venues all across Australia.
BMEC Band Nights support music from Bathurst and surrounds with some special guest artists. Local support acts are also featured at each event. These support acts are often young emerging musicians, including young artists who have been part of the Local Emerging Artists Program (LEAP).
On Friday, August 9 audiences will be entertained by Erin Cobcroft, who was part of LEAP in 2016 & 2017. Erin is a singer as well as a guitarist, pianist, flautist and saxophonist.
Erin has had a deep involvement since a young age in the Bathurst arts scene, playing roles in the Bathurst Carillion Theatrical Society's musicals such as Young Cosette in Les Miserables and Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.
She was also the lead female in the St Stanislaus' and MacKillop production of Footloose and writes and performs her own original songs and covers.
Last year Erin was a finalist for the Bathurst Youth Arts Awards.
The event is suitable for all ages. El Guapo Tortillas are available on the night. The BMEC bar is also open. Tickets are now available from BMEC box office or online www.bmec.com.au.
