Six months after Bathurst MP Paul Toole announced that the city would be getting a second Bullet, the state member has confirmed a starting date: Monday, September 16.
He has also confirmed the departure and arrival times for the new service, which will leave Bathurst later during the week and return earlier to give travellers more flexibility.
Mr Toole said the new service - which will, unlike the first Bullet, stop at Rydal and Tarana - had been fast-tracked to start in spring and "with twice the options available, I'm confident we will see more and more customers enjoy this service into the future".

The new service will leave Bathurst at 7.35am on weekdays and set off from Central for the return leg at 3.05pm, arriving in Bathurst at 6.47pm.
"We know travellers appreciate flexibility and choice when it comes to train travel," Mr Toole said.
"The new service gives locals the option of a later start in the morning and an earlier return for those who need to be back for family and social commitments."
The new service will operate to slightly revised times on Wednesdays due to the Indian Pacific timetable.
On weekends, the new Bullet will depart Bathurst at 6.07am.
The return service will arrive in Bathurst at 6.52pm on weekends, almost three hours before the existing service.
The Bathurst Bullet was introduced in 2012 after years of lobbying and quickly cemented its place in the city.
Transport for NSW figures for 2017 and the first half of 2018 showed an average of more than 1500 passengers were boarding the train at the Keppel Street station each month.
The figures showed the daily average for people boarding the Bullet at Bathurst ranged from 57 for December 2017 to 39 for February 2017.
Those wanting to use the new Bullet will be able to plan their trips at transportnsw.info by early September.
