While impressing in their inaugural season - they were defeated by the Tigers by a mere five-points in last year's grand final - the Giants were determined to turn the tables in 2019. They did just that.
Sunday's grand final at George Park 1, started off close with Giants holding just a four-point buffer at the end of the first quarter.
However, as the game continued the Giants won each quarter and they pulled away for a 46-point victory.
"We were reasonably confident heading into the final, but finals football is always that bit more competitive and anything can happen," Giants coach Steve Mann said.
"I was very happy with the girls, they played really, really well and topped off what was their best season yet."
The Giants squad added 11 new team members at the beginning of the year, which Mann felt was a key factor in their success.
"We had numbers on our side, having an extra 12 players meant we always had fresh feet coming onto the field whereas the Tigers didn't," Mann said.
"The Tigers played a really strong game and we have great respect for their team, we definitely didn't take the game lightly."
Hannah Dunn and Zoe Peters each booted two goals for the Giants while Jessica Macauley, Dakota Nugent, player of the grand final Teagan Germech, Rhiani Rozga and Jemmia Luck all found the mark as well.

With the Giants set to lose five or six players next year as they will be too old for the competition, Mann is hoping for some new, fresh faces to help maintain their winning status and defend their title in 2020.
It will also help continue the growth of the female ranks at the Bathurst Giants, with the youth girls premiership coming on the same weekend that the senior women's team booked a grand final berth.
"The club has grown again in 2019 and the success of both of our women's teams, is something the club is very proud of," Kevin Walker, the Bathurst Giants president said.
"The transitioning of players between junior grades and senior football is a focus of the Bathurst Giants. The future of the club looks really bright."
