The annual event invites members of the community to purchase a rubber duck to race down the river, with all proceeds donated towards local causes.
For the third year running, the event will include a corporate duck section, featuring representation from a host of notable Bathurst businesses.
Event co-ordinator Steve Semmens is hoping to build on last year's corporate duck event, which saw 30 businesses take part.
"We've sold 21 corporate ducks already, and I'm excited to see which business will take the honours this year," Mr Semmens said.
"It's a bit tough out there for businesses at the moment, but we appreciate any who jump on board as the event is for a good cause."
Public ducks will be on sale for $10 at the Bathurst City Centre on the two Saturdays prior to the event.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, September 15.
