Marmalade Mania will see a host of producers from across NSW put their distinctive brand of marmalade in from of an expert judging panel.
Event co-ordinator Jan Young said the entrants will be judged on the standard of their marmalade.
"There's no prizes for first, second or third; medals are awarded for each product on the basis of their points score," Ms Young said.
"Each product starts with 20 points and are counted back, with 18-20 scoring a gold, 16-17 netting a silver 14-15 securing a bronze."
Ms Young said the products will be assessed on three separate criteria: appearance, set and flavour.
"Flavour will be the key point of difference for products, as the judges will want to make sure each spread tastes exactly like the description on the jar," she said.
The judging will take place on Saturday, September 14 at the Bathurst CWA Hall, with public viewing set take place the following day.
In addition to the public viewing, the CWA Bathurst Evening Branch will stage a breakfast to raise money for endometriosis research.
