The accident occurred at around 7.18am on the corner of Stewart and Keppel streets, with police, paramedic and fire crews called to the scene.
Fire and Rescue NSW Station Officer Doug Fisk is on scene and told the Western Advocate that one woman, aged approximately 60 years, was about to be transported to hospital via road ambulance.
At this stage the woman's injuries are unknown.
The intersection is closed to motorists travelling in an easterly direction with police diverting traffic up Keppel Street away from the CBD.
Tow trucks are on scene to remove the vehicles involved in the accident.
