Greater action and viable solutions are needed for the current problems gripping the world's climate, however, sole responsibility should not be placed on the government to find a solution.
While it's not fair to characterise a whole generation, it seems many of my peers are passing the buck and inappropriately relying on our government to bring forth drastic change in federal policy.
Unfortunately, it's not that easy.

Climate change requires a joint effort between all levels of government and individuals; more specifically, emphasis on individual choices.
The government forms only one half of the solution, the other half being you. It seems that most of my peers have forgotten this and don't understand this concept.
To all my peers participating on Friday, please enlighten us on the individual choices you have made in an effort to reduce your immediate impact on climate change.
