The British Invasion show will see Jeff Duff, Lance Strauss and Rob Caudill take the stage as David Bowie, Elton John and Rod Stewart respectively.
Duff, who has been entertaining Australian audiences for over four decades, said fans of iconic 1970s music are in for a treat.
"The music of these artists has transcended generations, and we often attract a number of baby boomers looking to revisit the sounds of their formative years," he said.
Duff developed an affinity for Bowie from a young age and while a member of jazz-rock fusion band Kush in the 1970s, he convinced the group to do an arrangement of Space Oddity with horns.
It was then that Duff's legacy as a Bowie tribute artist began, and has assumed the role of the late chameleonic legend in a number of hit shows.
His tributes over the years have included Ziggy - The Songs of David Bowie, Bowie Unzipped and Ground Control to Frank Sinatra.
"If I had to pick a favourite Bowie album, it would be Hunky Dory, however Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is a very close second," he said.
"The beauty of Bowie is that his original fans have passed his music down to younger generations, which is why we sometimes see young people at our shows."
Duff's connection to Bowie extends beyond the stage, however, as the pair used to live next door to each other.
"Bowie was my neighbour in Elizabeth Bay in the late 1980s, and we'd regularly meet up for coffee," he said.
"He was a gentle, intelligent human being who displayed a lot of humility towards his groundbreaking impact on popular culture."
Duff said he's looking forward to bringing the magic of Bowie back to Bathurst.
"BMEC is such a fantastic venue and I hope British music fans will enjoy the show," he said.
The British Invasion show gets under way at 7.30pm on Thursday, October 17. Tickets from bmec.com.au.
