The event, held on Friday, November 15, will feature limited food stalls and an open-air movie screening.
The council, which was elected back in June, has decided to screen the 1971 classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, an adaption of Roald Dahl's famous children novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Last year's Food and Flix was originally planned to be held in November too, however, due to weather, it was rescheduled to February, 2019.
Organisers had hoped for a crowd of 300 to the event, but their expectations were smashed when a crowd of over a 1000 showed up.
The free event starts at 6.30pm, with the movie screening from 8pm to 9.45pm.
Bring your own picnic.
The youth council will be hoping for a similar turn-out.
