The announcements come as part of a broader announcement of a continued relationship between the Shannons Nationals / CAMS and the Australian Racing Group (ARG), who now also promote the Bathurst 6 Hour in conjunction with the Bathurst Regional Council.
The second round of the 2020 TCR Australia Series will see the first official hit-out for that series at the Mount and serve as the perfect lead-in to the six-hour Production Car enduro on Sunday afternoon.
TCR Cars then return to the circuit later in the year for the new fifth Bathurst event.
"Bringing Bathurst into our series is going to be a winner for everyone. It will be fabulous to see sprint touring car racing return to the iconic track in almost 25 years too," ARG director Matt Braid said.
The addition of the Bathurst 6 Hour to the Shannons Nationals program comes at a time of the series going from strength to strength.
"With a significant boost in crowd and viewing figures so far this season, we're certain that the Shannons Nationals will continue to grow even more," director Michael Smith said. "In particular we have been delighted to work with Matt and the team at ARG to add Bathurst to the Shannons Nationals line up."
Next year's Bathurst 6 Hour runs April 10-12.
