Rugby Union openers Imran and Jameel Qureshi caused plenty of headaches for the Orange CYMS bowlers and fielders on Saturday, as the brothers combined for a 142-run stand to have Rugby Union sitting at 8-323 after the first day of play at Morse Park.

Imran, who will captain Rugby Union throughout the 2019-20 Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket season, hit a total of 58 with the bat before being run out, while Jameel fell nine runs short of a century at 91 after he was caught out by an Angus Wilson ball.
The skipper said the total of 142 runs between the brothers is one of the highest scores the two have combined for.
"It's up there, definitely up there," he said.

"We've had one or two that have probably been better than that, but they weren't opening bats.
"It's always good fun to have that kind of partnership with your brother."
Imran was a regular opener for Rugby Union during the 2018-19 Bathurst District Cricket Association first grade season, while Jameel usually batted in the upper middle order.
However, Imran said that his brother was keen to bat within the top order in the 2019-20 season.
"Jameel has been pretty keen, at a club level, to have a crack at opening," Imran explained.
"We'll just see how it goes. On the weekend, it was a good result and we built a nice platform for the rest of the team to kick-on from. I was pretty pleased with it."
Imran admitted that there's always been a rivalry between him and Jameel with who can get the most runs, but he said he just enjoys playing good cricket with his brother.
"There's always been a rivalry from day one and he ran me out, so maybe he was a bit worried about me," Imran laughed.
"We really enjoy our time together. We work together and spend a lot of time together, so any added time in the middle, it's just a pleasure being able to do it with your brother.
"There is always a bit of spirit competition there though."
Rugby Union finished Saturday with Jeremy Thackeray (44 runs) and Ryan Smiles (13 runs), who will both resume at the crease when day two action continues on Saturday.
The skipper said he'll decide earlier on about declaring come Saturday.
"We're going to have to declare reasonably early," he said.
"We'll sit down during the week and discuss the amount of overs we want to face or a total we want to get.
"We thought about declaring early on Saturday, but last round, Centennials got a score of 300-odd. It's pretty small boundaries and the outfield is pretty quick.
"If we get a few more runs under the belt and have a reasonable amount of overs to try and bowl them out, that'll give us the best way to victory."
CYMS bowler Chris Novak picked up five wickets, finishing with 5-50 over 19 overs.
Luke D'Elboux and Angus Wilson picked up the other two wickets.
