Families need to be able to host students for several days, from Friday, March 6 to Monday, March 9.
Each Bathurst family who joins the program would have between two and four students staying with them over this time.
The requirements to be a host family are very simple.
"The students need their own bed and the host family need room in their vehicles to transport students safely," mayor Bobby Bourke said.
Across the trip, families are also asked to provide some meals and spend a couple of days with the students to help them experience life in Bathurst.
They can also join students for the Cultural Exchange Concert at Bathurst High School.
Toyo students have been coming to the area for over 20 years and Bathurst has had a Sister City relationship with Ohkuma since 1991.
