The pair were this week revealed as finalists for the 2019 Cyclist of the Year Awards.
Miller will be up against Carol Cooke and Paige Greco for the honour of being crowned the elite road para-cycling female of the year for the second consecutive year.
The handcyclist enjoyed a huge year as she was crowned a dual national champion for the road race and time trial then won those two events at the world championships. Miller was also declared a World Cup series victor.
Hastings earned her spot as a female masters road finalist alongside Kristy Grubits and Anna Davis thanks to a stellar performance at the Cycling Australia Masters Road Nationals.
She won the Women's Masters 9 category road race, individual time trial and criterium gold medals with times that stacked up well when compared to those in younger age divisions.
Meanwhile, CSU student Kaarle McCulloch is in the running to be named Cycling Australia's elite track female rider of the year.
At the 2019 World Track Championships, McCulloch won team sprint gold while also earning keirin silver and time trial bronze.
The winners will be announced on December 16.
