The 59-year-old man was last seen about 11.45pm on Wednesday at a service station on the Mitchell Highway, Bathurst.
About 12.30am on Friday, the man presented to Bathurst police station safe and well.
Police would like to thank the media and public for their assistance.

The man was last seen about 11.45pm on Wednesday at a service station on the Mitchell Highway, Bathurst.
He has not been seen since.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
