BATHURST'S Target store and Uniting Care Australia group have partnered to spread a little joy to people in need this Christmas.

Residents can support the community this festive season by buying a $1 Christmas Appeal bauble at any Target store or by donating online.
Uniting coordinator, Julie Greig, hopes to raise more than $3,000 for local families.
"Donations will provide emergency help such as food vouchers for families, especially those in Condobolin and Bathurst. By donating, you will be helping many families put food on the table," she said.
Uniting Church Reverend Claire Wright said it's been a tough year and the appeal can help take a little pressure off families.
"The drought and the rising cost of living mean there's plenty of people we can help this Christmas, so we'd love everyone to help out if you can," she said.
Mayor Bobby Bourke and councillor Alex Christian have also got behind the appeal. Cr Bourke said it was important to highlight Uniting Care and Target's efforts to help local families.
"As a councillor and the mayor, I want to continue supporting Uniting Care and Target - they're doing a great job," he said.
Cr Christian added that $1 was a very small donation, so it was a simple way for members of the community to give back.
