The volunteers at Miss Traill's House and Garden are as busy as elves, preparing the venue for its Traditional Night Before Christmas event.
The family Christmas celebration, which is now in its 26th year, will be held on Tuesday, December 17.
Event coordinator Tim Cox said that those who come along can enjoy dinner, Christmas carols and explore the heritage house and garden.
As always, there will be plenty for the youngest members of the family to do.
"The Carillon Show Band will provide the sing-a-long carols for the festive celebrations," Mr Cox said.
"Barbecue [food] can be purchased for dinner and there will be beer, wines and soft drink available and you can visit the coffee van, or you can bring your own picnic.
"Free children's craft will entertain the children and there will be a visit from Santa, distributing a sackful of surprises."

Miss Traill's House volunteers will also run a multi-prize Christmas raffle and have the shop open for those who are looking for last-minute presents.
People who would like to come along to the Traditional Night Before Christmas can purchase their tickets at the gate upon arrival.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for concessions, $6 for children, or families can gain admission for $25.
The event normally attracts between 150 and 200 people, but the venue is able to cater to many more.
