Information sessions have been held in the Blue Mountains and Lithgow in recent weeks and an unstaffed display has been available at Bathurst Regional Council.
The NSW Government has nominated a "strategic corridor" between Katoomba and Mount Victoria and a corridor reserved in 2013 between Mount Victoria and Lithgow for the highway upgrade and duplication.

Transport for NSW western region director Alistair Lunn said feedback will close at 5pm this Monday, December 16 and he is hoping to hear from as many voices as possible.
"We are really keen to hear from both residents of the Blue Mountains and the Central West," he said.
