The pub was highly commended in the Best Regional Casual Dining category, behind The Railway Hotel in Parkes.
Owner Glyn Daunt said Jack Duggans had been nominated for at least one AHA award every year since the pub opened and this was the second time they've had their name read out during the gala presentation.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Jack Duggans won the same award back in 2014.
Mr Daunt said the awards were very competitive, with more than 1600 AHA members in the running to win a prize.
He said judging in the awards was 100 per cent anonymous, relying on a site inspection by mystery judges.
The judges take into account the hotel's decor, design, ambiance and atmosphere of the premises, popularity of the venue and alignment to the market.
They also consider the food and beverage offerings, pricing, wine lists as well as customer service, staff presentation and the overall dining experience.
"Whether it's flat out or quiet, everything that comes out of the kitchen is the same high quality. Consistency is everything," he said.
Mr Daunt thanked his staff, who he said were amazing.
"We have really good team here and this award all because of our great team work," he said.
