The Oberon district tourist attraction made the announcement on its website on Wednesday.
"Please note that due to serious bushfire conditions, we have temporarily suspended all activities, including hotel, café, restaurant, cave tours and bush walks, from 7pm Wednesday, December 18 up to and including Sunday, December 22," the message on the Jenolan Caves website said.
"For your safety, the RMS [Roads and Maritime Services] has closed all roads in and out of Jenolan.
"When conditions are safe, we will resume business as usual.
"If this temporary closure has affected your holiday arrangements, we sincerely apologise. When we reopen, we will happily reschedule or arrange a refund."
The NSW Rural Fire Service's Fires Near Me, at 4pm on Wednesday, showed the Green Wattle Creek fire south-west of Warragamba Dam in the Blue Mountains National Park had burnt more than 150,000 hectares and remained out of control.
