Panthers and St Pat's have enjoyed a great share of both junior and senior glory across the past 10 years and given the city's rugby league fans plenty of exciting football in that time.
We're taking a look back at some of the 2010's most memorable Bathurst moments.
1: BATHURST TEAMS CLEAN SWEEP GRAND FINAL DAY
WE might not see a season like 2018 for a long time.
That's because Bathurst Panthers and St Pat's combined to win all four grand finals on offer during a magical day at Cowra's Sid Kallas Oval.
St Pat's picked up the first grand final on offer when their dominant women's league tag team completed an unbeaten season with their win over the Orange Hawks - a feat they would repeat 12 months later.
Panthers' under 18s team had been a team on the rise throughout the season and they capped off the year in the best way possible by accounting for Orange CYMS.
Both Bathurst clubs then went head-to-head in the reserve grade battle where the Saints would prevail in a surprise upset.
Panthers' premier league team went out against the hosts looking to get the club on the board after their two other teams missed out earlier in the day.
What followed was something Panthers fans at the ground will remember for a long time.
With the scores at 10-all Willie Wright had a difficult sideline conversion to make but he made it look easy with his left-to-right effort taking the Panthers to premiership glory.
2: PANTHERS MAKE IT TWO TITLES IN A ROW
FOLLOWING their tough 2018 grand final victory over the Cowra Magpies the Bathurst Panthers were expecting a big challenge from the Mudgee Dragons in their back-to-back bid, knowing that the red and white had never been far off beating them throughout the regular season.
And once again the Panthers were pushed to their limit.
This year's 9-8 extra-time triumph over the Dragons was a true battle of attrition and a game decided in a massive forward pack tussle.
Doug Hewitt broke the deadlock with his field goal and in the process made the Panthers the first back-to-back champions since Orange CYMS in 2010-11.
It was the first extra-time grand final since the 2006, where the Panthers also won on that occasion against the Lithgow Workies.
Hewitt was elated to completed another premiership double for the club.
"You couldn't script it any better. I'm glad we're on the winning side of it," Hewitt said.
"I have practice field goal shots every now and then at training but you never think it's going to come to that.
3: ST PAT'S RUN AWAY WITH FINALE
A man-of-the-match hat-trick to hooker Benjamin John paved the way for the Saints' 34-12 hammering of the Cowra Magpies in the 2014 Group 10 premier league decider.
Kurt Hancock coached the Bathurst club to their first title in six years and made his debut season with the club one to remember.
"We prepared well this week and our goal was to just enjoy the day and you could see that in our footy," he said after the grand final victory.
"We've been the most consistent team all year. They're a great bunch of fellas, they do whatever they're told - most of the time. We're really going to enjoy this one."
John was a menace from close range throughout the game.
He scored all three of his tries with short runs or dives across the line from dummy half.
Pat's played an exciting brand of football through the season, and were never afraid to send the ball wide often in a season focused on speedy play.
4: GEORGE ROSE SIGNS WITH OBERON
BATHURST'S George Rose enjoyed a wonderful NRL career, which included a premiership and a player of the year award with the Manly Sea Eagles, so when he announced a return to Group 10 in 2016 it naturally sent waves of excitement throughout the competition.
Rose, who played 151 NRL matches over his career, came back to the Group 10 competition for the first time since his under 18s success with the Bathurst Panthers back in 2000.
A big factor in bringing Rose to the club was that he would line up alongside his brothers Matt and Trent, who came across from Orange CYMS to make it a sibling triple threat for the Tigers.
"I always wanted to come back and play some footy with my brothers. My brothers and I talked a bit about it last year that I would like to come back to Group 10 and it's exciting to see it happen," Rose said after the signing.
5: SAINTS JUNIORS STUN THE DRAGONS
JUNIOR teams across Bathurst have recorded some amazing grand final victories over the past 10 years but you don't have to look back far to find the most stunning one of all.
In this year's under 13s decider St Pat's achieved something special when they handed the Mudgee Dragons their first loss in five years.
And the way they did it just added to the moment.
With 45 seconds remaining in the second half of extra-time, St Pat's White five-eighth Lachlin Randall reached out to ground the ball for a four-pointer and seal a comeback 16-12 grand final win.
"We were pretty stoked, it was a pretty good game and a well deserved victory, but Mudgee were by no means easy-beats, they put everything they had into it as well," Saints coach Tony England said post-game.
"It's extremely surreal, they are a very, very high quality team.
"To be able to walk away and say we beat those guys on grand final day, it's the first time they've been beaten in such a long time - it's just exceptional.
"It's just a credit to the boys, they've worked hard for a couple of years to get to this point."
