NSW TrainLink says the track work will begin at 2am next Thursday, December 26 and will end at 10pm on Monday, December 30 on the Blue Mountains line.
It says buses will replace the two Bathurst Bullet services between Bathurst and Sydney during that time.

As well, the Dubbo XPT will be replaced by timetable road coach for the period and the Broken Hill XPLORER service will be replaced by road coach on December 30 and 31.
NSW Trainlink says intercity services will operate between Sydney and Penrith during the track work period, but buses will then replace services between Penrith and Lithgow.
"We understand that track work is frustrating for our customers, however it is an essential part of operating a safe and reliable network and delivering the best possible service to our customers," a NSW TrainLink spokesperson said.
"Buses and coaches will replace the train services so our customers can travel during the track work.
"Customers travelling through the Blue Mountains should check the station track work poster, use one of our real time apps or plan their trip at transportnsw.info."
