Mr Josh has lodged a development application (DA) with Bathurst Regional Council, seeking to fit out the commercial premises.
He said that, all going well, Unify will move into the new premises within two months.
The main area of the studio will be open-concept to allow the tattoo artists to consult with each other.
"But if people require privacy, we will have a private room out the back," Mr Josh said.

According to the statement of environmental effects submitted with the DA, the hours of operation will be from 9am to 6pm daily.
Given the nature of the business, it is not expected to lead to a significant increase in traffic in George Street.
Unify has become popular among tattoo fans, with appointments often booked out six months in advance.
The overflowing appointment book made the decision to move into a bigger space much easier.
"It gives me so much confidence. Both myself and Isabella have so much support in the Bathurst community," Mr Josh said.
Tattooing has increased in popularity locally, too, with more and more people looking to get inked.
"Tattooing is starting to become a fine art and a lot of artists are getting into tattooing. It's like a tattoo renaissance," Mr Josh said.
At his studio, tattoos are usually by appointment only and all the tattoos he and Ms Morawetz design are custom, following significant consultation with their clients.
Their speciality is black and grey photo realism.
