Colts lead the way in second grade at the Christmas break, undefeated and winning four of its six games so far this season.
However, Colts have got a strong St Pat's Old Boys Blue team on its back in second and when the competition resumes on January 11, the two teams will battle it out for top spot.
In third place, former first grade club ORC has scored a ton of runs, with a competition high of 1241 across six games.
Those runs have mainly been sourced from gun Trent Fitzpatrick, who leads the way in the competition with the most runs this summer with 327, 113 better than his closest rival in Rugby Union batsman Leroy Burke.
Fitzpatrick scored massive totals against St Pat's Old Boys White in round two (92 runs) and Bathurst Bushrangers in round three (152 runs), proving that the former first grader still has plenty of talent with the bat.
And the former first grade skipper isn't the only one to score a century this season, with Burke scoring 145 in round four against ORC, Centennials' Andrew Kreuzberger whacking a season-high of 162 in round one against Rugby Union, Colts' Izaac Molenkamp running for 121 against Bathurst City in round four and St Pat's Old Boys White's Lachlan Menzies hitting an unbeaten 100 against Bushrangers in round one.
Blue's Nathan Maxwell has the most wickets in second grade with 20.
Bathurst City occupy the fourth and final play-off position in second grade at the Christmas break, but Rugby Union and Centennials Bulls are close behind the Redbacks in fifth and sixth respectively.
St Pat's Old Boys White and Bathurst Bushrangers make up the remaining positions on the ladder, with the latter winless and sitting in last place.
In third grade, Rugby Union have won eight and lost just the one from its opening nine matches and sit 10 points clear of Perthville in first place.
The ladder suggests that Rugby and Perthville have been the two strongest teams this summer so far, with a host of other teams including ORC, Bathurst City, City Colts and the Vic Hotel all in the mix for the other two finals spots.
Down in Presidents Cup, Centennials Bulls are top of the pile, but a strong ORC outfit are just under four points behind the ladder leaders.
Second grade, third grade and Presidents Cup will all resume play on January 11.
