As the first five pacers passed the winning post in the Ray and Olive McCarthy Memorial on Thursday night, a photo finish was required to split them, with only half a neck in it.
And after inspection, it was confirmed that hot favourite Tingiringi ($1.35), driven and trained by Jarrod Alchin, had down just enough to claim her second win in just three career starts.
In second and third respectively was Talk About Lexy ($19) and Delightful Angel ($7.50), who finished half a head off the winner.
Fourth place went to the Bernie Hewitt-trained and Doug Hewitt-driven Angel Shark ($26), while second-favourite Christiano Rose ($6) came fifth for driver and trainer Matt Rue.
Both Angel Shark and Christiano Rose finished half a neck off the winner.
However, it wasn't a close contest for the rest of the field, with sixth-placed Watching You Dream ($71) almost 17 metres behind the winner.
At the start Talk About Lexy took to the front but was relegated to second after Tingiringi found the lead heading into the final lap.
It wasn't until the final straight that the top five made their push, with Christiano Rose putting up a late challenge and might've have found the lead in the next hundred metres but it wasn't to be.
After missing out a placing in The Knickerbocker Hotel Pace (1730 metres) earlier in the evening with Crookwell Jake, Alchin win was the first of two for the night.
He was back in the gig for My Ultimate Louie ($6.50) in the next race - the TAB Odds and Evens Pace (1730 metres) - and enjoyed a less-dramatic finale to finish first ahead of Bernie Hewitt's Rock Fishermen in second and KerryAnn Morris' Major Lester in third.
