We were greeted with the uplifting sounds of your carillon being played.
What a brilliant and inspiring instrument is your carillon. How fortunate you are.
Congratulations to the carillon player who performed not only well-known Christmas carols but additional pieces to enhance the performance.
Some of the tunes we recognised were When Irish Eyes Are Smiling, Joy To The World, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, If I Were A Rich Man, The Harmonious Blacksmith and Popcorn. It was brilliant.
We stayed until the end and were blessed with the opportunity to experience this superb performance. Congratulations to you.
Well done to all involved for the wonderful musical moments emanating from your very unique and majestic instrument.
May the carillon continue to ring out long and loud as it adds a very unique and significant experience to the celebrations of your great city.
You are indeed very fortunate to have this magnificent instrument in your town and thanks for sharing it with we travellers.
