Since December, 2019, 9000 people have made their way through the pool's gates, including an estimated 2100 people on December 21-22, when entry was free due to heatwave conditions.
Customer service supervisor Sarah Walsh said these numbers are extremely good, compared to recent years.
"A lot more people have been signing up for memberships compared to recent years," she said.
"Normally we do [get a spike in numbers in summer] but it's been more than previous years.
"We were a bit down last year but we've got a lot more people coming through the gates this summer.
"It's been pretty good."
Ms Walsh said she expected a spike in membership from the recent heatwave before Christmas and believes numbers will continue to increase throughout the remainder of summer.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the high 30s for the remainder of the week, with a high of 37 on Thursday and Friday, before a high of 39 on Saturday.
The mercury will hit 37 on Sunday before dropping to 26 on Monday, which could see a 50 per cent chance of rain that could bring up to eight millimetres of rain.
The Manning Aquatic Centre is open every day from 6am in the morning to 8pm in the evening.
