Mountain Meats, located in Bathurst City Centre, started selling its Yellow Brick Road sausages on January 13 in celebration of the concert.
"I thought a couple of weeks ago that we need to do something because it's not every day that you have a megastar in your backyard," owner Paul Smith said.
The sausage is a mix of cumberland and bratwurst flavours, with the veal in the latter and the spices used helping to give the sausage its colour.
Customers have been enjoying the unique flavour.
"I had a lady on Sunday say it was the best sausage she ever had," Mr Smith said.
The sausages are priced at $19.99 per kilo and will continue to be sold through to the weekend.
Mountain Meats regularly makes special sausages when major events are happening and will this week introduce nine new flavours for Australia Day.
The sausages will represent different locations around Australia and include:
- Barbecue beef and onion (Bathurst)
- Shiraz, roast garlic and mushroom (South Australia)
- Chicken, mango and chili (Northern Territory)
- Beef and VB (Victoria)
- Apple and sage (Tasmania)
- Macadamia and bush honey (Queensland)
- Meat lovers (Western Australia)
- Fully Aus Vegemite and cheese
- Aussie breakfast pork sausage
Mr Smith said it'll be a busy time for sausages, with more special releases coming up.
"We've got this week - Australia Day - and then next week we've got the race, and then after that we've got the BMX," he said.
He said adding the different flavours every now and again was to "make it fun and keep people interested".
