Western has positions available in its junior girl sides including under 14s, under 15s and under 17s.
Sallyann Shuttleworth, from Western, said that numbers are down due to several players withdrawing from squads in recent times.
"We've had a couple of people pull out in the past week due to other commitments," she said.
"In the past few seasons, when we haven't had the numbers needed, a lot of the girls back-up every week. Particularly in the junior teams, you could be playing in under 14s and up to under 17s and potentially on the bench for reserve grade, it's just unsustainable for 22 rounds and could cause injury to our players."
Clubs competing in NPL Women's NSW 2 are required to field both a first grade and reserve grade team, but in 2019, Football NSW granted Western an exception.
However, Shuttleworth said the club will not be granted that same exception in 2020.
"Football NSW isn't doing that again this year," she said.
"If we can't field the numbers, they won't let us play in NPL 2."
If Western cannot field both a first grade and reserve grade side, the club's senior sides will have to fold as well as the junior teams.
"We've got to let Football NSW know in the next two to three weeks we're going to be able to field the numbers to remain in NPL 2," she said.
While trials have already happened, interested players are still welcome to come along to the upcoming training session at Jack Brabham Park in Orange on Sunday, February 2.
The under 14s, under 15s and under 17s train will train at 9.30am, followed by first grade and reserve grade at 10.30am.
