The event will feature performances from eight local acts who have been involved with the 2020 LEAP program, including Sweet Revenge, Ricky's Breath and Trifold.
Trifold members Zoe Bunyan and James Zhang said they're excited to introduce their sound to an audience.
"We bring together a range of influences, but our sound is pretty straight-forward rock," Zoe said.
"There'll be something for everyone to enjoy," James added.
The LEAP program is an initiative of BMEC's Local Stages to provide emerging artists with vital performance experience in the lead up to the Inland Sea of Sound festival.
"We want to give these acts a chance to perform for audiences outside their schools and friend circles," Local Stages assistant producer Heidi Annand said.
"The artists will all get free tickets to Inland Sea of Sound, and some will get to perform at the festival as part of the LEAP program."
The LEAP Band Night will get under way at 6.30pm this Saturday. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for students and concession.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the featured artists, and food will be provided by El Guapo Cantina.
