The 36-year-old man, who cannot be identified, appeared before magistrate Catherine Follent in Bathurst Local Court charged with common assault and three counts of stalking, harassment and intimidation.
Solicitor James Taylor conceded his client had pleaded guilty to matters that were "very serious and against young children".
The court also heard the offender smoked between one and two grams of cannabis a day but had stopped using in the weeks before the incident.

Police facts tendered to the court told how the children's mother had received a message via text from the accused saying "these kids are being horrible, [expletive] these kids I'm going".
The mother returned home to the accused and he said he had covered the nine-year-old girl's mouth and nose and screamed at her: "Do you ever want to breathe again [expletive]?"
The accused then went out drinking at a hotel and returned home drunk. He was hostile to his partner and children to a point where the young girl said she was going to call the police.
The accused took the girl's phone and said he "would stomp her head into the ground" if she did.
The mother and children took refuge in a neighbour's backyard as police were called.
When officers arrived another child said the accused had pushed her into a wall when leaving the house but she started screaming and didn't want to say any more when questioned about it.
In sentencing, Ms Follent said given the prevalence of domestic violence in the community, a message must be sent that this behaviour would not be tolerated.
The man was sentenced to two years' jail to be served by way of an intensive corrections order (ICO). He was also ordered to undergo counselling and serve 150 hours of community service.
An apprehended violence order is also in place.
