Their final game was against an undefeated St Patrick's College and while the visitors may have won by 49 runs, Scots made them work for it until the very last ball.
Ben Cant was one of the six playing in their last game and he hit a match high 66 with the bat, while Ralph Nicholls - another departing player - was the only Scots player to score a six in the match.
Hugh Parsons, Tom Hewett, Sam Rendall and Finn Corbett were the other four players that played their final match for Scots.
While coach Phil Cant said to disappointing to loss the final match of the season, he said the Scots boys put up a solid effort in defeat.
"We bowled and fielded well and kept them to a reasonable total, but we were unable to get the runs," he said.
"It was good. A few of the boys stood up who hadn't before and Ben had a handy innings with the bat, scoring 66, but some of the other boys got some good runs later in the innings and pushed us up closer to the other team's total."
Scots finished the season in fifth position, just missing out on the top four, however, their match against Blue Mountains Grammar School on February 1 was called off due to heat, while St Stanislaus' College's match - which was played in hotter conditions - against St Pius X College went ahead.
Blue Mountains finished the season winless and Cant was confident that if the match went ahead, Scots would've won the match, meaning his side could've finished as high as third.
Stannies also went down on Saturday, losing to Oakhill, but still finished second and will play St Pius this Saturday, with the winner progressing to the grand final.
St Patrick's and Oakhill will contest the other semi.
