For 2MCE, this can only mean one thing ... a return to student programs.
As first-year students find their way around campus we hope they'll soon be on air with some great new programming.
Community radio station 2MCE thanks all listeners for the part you play in the development of radio, journalism and communication professionals of the future.
To all new Charles Sturt University students welcome to the Central West, and welcome back to all students returning to campus.
Driving tunes
NEXT week, second-year communication student Adam Staples returns to the airwaves with Thursday Drive from 4pm.
Adam will be bringing you trivia, facts of the day, traffic and weather, plus great music during his weekly program.
And shortly you'll also hear the return of The Sophies, presented by Sophie Scanlon and Sophie Galante.
Both Sophies are third-year communication students at Charles Sturt University and if their 2019 program is anything to go by, listeners are in for a fun time on their program.
Tune in Mondays from 5pm-6pm.
Get involved
AS a community radio station, we are for the community and always looking for ways to get you, the community, involved.
Do you have a particular genre you're passionate about? A favourite band you think deserves more of the limelight?
If you would like to be a guest on Evening Music to share your passion, please get in touch with me at the station to discuss!
Evening Music is on Wednesday at 6pm.
Sea of Sound
WITH Inland Sea of Sound next weekend, this week on 2MCE you'll hear many of the artists who'll be performing at the festival.
Gabbi Bolt, Team Love, Imogen Clark and Izy, and of course the headline acts Killing Heidi and Missy Higgins are just a few of the great artists you're hearing across the week on 2MCE.
If we can get behind international superstars such as Elton John we can definitely get behind local acts and support them.
Information can be found via the Bathurst Regional Council website.
