Friday's minimum of 5.6 degrees was the coldest since the five degree minimum recorded in late November and well below the city's long-term average for February of 13.2 degrees.
It easily beat the nine degrees recorded on February 20 that was, at that point, Bathurst's coldest morning of the year.

Bathurst's minimums are forecast to be in double figures for the next week and rain is a possibility next Wednesday and Thursday.
Maximums are forecast to be in the late 20s and early 30s.
