Friday's minimum of 5.6 degrees was the coldest since the five degree minimum recorded in late November and well below the city's long-term average for February of 13.2 degrees.
It easily beat the nine degrees recorded on February 20 that was, at that point, Bathurst's coldest morning of the year.
