They emerged from The Victoria's upstairs area clad in bath towels, but it didn't take long for local band Ricky's Breath to shower the crowd with electric entertainment at their EP launch last Friday night.

To celebrate the release of their debut EP, Living In Australia, Ricky's Breath led the crowd through a rousing set of songs off the release, as well as covers from some of their idols, including The Chats, Skegss and Dune Rats.
With a crowd of around 130 in tow, frontman Charlie Dunn said the launch could not have gone any better.
"It was amazing from start to finish, and we loved seeing the mosh up the front get into it," Charlie said.
"Hearing our lyrics sung back to us was insane."
The gig was moved from the Little Alberts room to The Backyard hours before the show to accommodate a larger crowd and the band, which also includes Harry Cooke [guitar], Harley Goodman [bass] and Darnell Polson [drums] certainly rose to the occasion.
"It was great to have our own crowd, and they were nothing but supportive," Harley said.
Ricky's Breath were supported by Sweet Revenge, who performed a dynamic curtain raiser to get the evening under way.
With their debut EP out in the open, Charlie said he's excited to see what the future of the band holds.
"We hope to land some more gigs, write new material and get an album out as soon as we can," he said.
"We're very thankful for everyone's support."
