But after a late withdrawal from the squad, Collins - who is actually a registered third grade player for 2020 - was called into the squad and come off the bench towards the end of the match.
Panorama may have lost the match to Southern & Ettalong 7-3 but Collins said his FFA Cup run is something he's not going to forget anytime soon.
"I ended up getting 10 minutes towards the end, so it was a bit of a laugh," he said.
"I'm actually registered to play third grade this year, so it's been a long time since I've played first grade.
"I was more proud for me to be a part of something we've achieved as a club. Obviously, Beau [Yates], Brent [Osborne], Ben [Fry] and everyone else at the club has worked so hard to get us to this stage.
"It was special, like a side a bit of laugh, but it was great. It's 10 minutes I'm not going to forget."
Collins has made the Panorama coach aware that he's available for Western Premier League action this year.
"I've told him that I'll be there at training next week but he laughed at that," he said.
He now expects the Goats to come back bigger and better for a cup run in 2021.
"We'll keep doing it and it's only going to make us better," he said.
Nathan Davis scored twice for the Goats on the night, while Dylan White scored from the spot.
