St Pat's won last year's crown by overcoming Group 11 rivals Dubbo CYMS 14-4 in the decider and while the 2019 runners-up aren't in the competition this year, St Pat's have been grouped with hosts Canowindra Tigers, Wellington Cowboys and new side Orange United.
Mish Sommers, who was a part of the 2019 St Pat's side that won, believes her team has what it takes to win a fifth consecutive title.
"We've got a similar side to last year, so hopefully we pick-up where we left off at the end of 2019," she said.
"We've got a good bunch of girls this year. There's a few new ones, so there's a bit of a change-up but it's always nice to see where all the other teams are at, at the start of the season."
While St Pat's have promoted several under 18s talents, they've recruited sisters Shannon and Danielle Fisher from the Oberon Tigers.
Sommers believes that both Orange Group 10 sides will prove a strong test, as well as the Parkes Spacemen.
"Hawks will definitely be strong, they always are. Orange CYMS will be another to look out for too," she said.
"Parkes are coming across and are quite dangerous, having played in the final before.
"They're a few of the teams that'll look to stand out on the weekend."
The tournament will also act as a perfect pre-season hit-out for the three-time defending Group 10 league tag champions.
"It's very good to stretch those legs out after the most of us playing touch in the summer," Sommer said.
"It'll be good to play a bit of league tag and it's a good competition because you get to play other teams from Group 11, Woodbridge Cup. So it's quite a mixture of teams you don't normally get to play in the normal season.
"It's a good little hit-out."
Bathurst Panthers have not fielded a team for the tournament and the only other Group 10 team outside of the two Orange clubs that will compete is the Cowra Magpies.
Molong Bulls, Condobolin Rams, Orange CYMS and Forbes Magpies have been drawn in pool A, Grenfell Goannas, Cowra Magpies, West Belconnen and Orange Barbarians will contest pool B and Manildra Rhinos, Trundle Boomers, Orange Hawks and Parkes Spacemen will all be in pool C.
St Pat's group with Canowindra, Wellington and Orange United is pool D.
The winner of pool A will meet the winner of pool B at 2.45pm, while the winner of pool C will play with the winner of pool D at 3.10pm in the semi-finals.
Winners of the semi-finals will contest the final at 4pm.
The first game between Molong and CYMS kicks-off at 11am.
