Bathurst MP Paul Toole said projects on the Mitchell Highway at Oaky Creek Lane and the Great Western Highway at Mount Lambie, east of Bathurst, would improve safety for all road users.
"Rumble strips are estimated to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes by 25 per cent as they alert drivers when they are drifting from the road," Mr Toole said.
